Autumn_Leaves-10

The Beaujolais region located in the south of Burgundy offers you a whole range of riches to discover. Gourmet stops, tastings of wines, discovery of the country and its inhabitants.

In the Beaujolais there is something to drink but also to see.

On request we offer you, for stays from 2 nights , a road book which will guide you from vintage to vintage to discover the small villages and the most beautiful viewpoints of Beaujolais. Along the way, you can stop for a tasting at one of the winegrowers we have selected for the quality of their wines and their hospitality.

In southern Burgundy , you will discover, near the Roche de Solutrée, the white wines of the famous Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran and Viré-Clessé crus.

On the other side of the Mâconnais mountains , appears in the middle of woods and pastures, Cluny, high place of Christianity in Europe of the Middle Ages. The remains of its abbey and the abbey church of Saint-Philibert de Tournus constitute, with the multitude of churches and chapel scattered in the countryside, a prestigious garden of Romanesque art.

Secular architecture has left imposing castles, from medieval times to the Renaissance: Brancion, Berzé-le-Châtel or even Cormatin, Pierreclos which preserve the memories of the poet Alphonse de Lamartine.
